The Gouldsboro United Methodist Church is situated among blueberry fields on Old Route One, in a small neighborhood just north of U.S. Route 1, near the eastern terminus of Route 186.
The smaller of two churches in the Schoodic Circuit, the congregation has a history dating back to the 19th Century. The existing building was erected in 1884.It is a small, warm community in which to worship. Its Stitch and Serve Society contributes crafts and mittens for those in need.
The congregation has an earned public reputation throughout the area for its monthly bean suppers, prepared for and put on by practically all active parishioners; and for special lobster dinners put on for bus tours in the fall.
Current outside users of our facilities include Health Link - which has an active exercise program for seniors twice a week throughout the year.
